1. Overview & Core Privacy Guarantee
At FrameProof, privacy is not a marketing setting: it is the foundational engineering principle of our software. FrameProof operates as a browser-first client-side application. When you drop images, contact sheets, or collages into FrameProof, all image decoding, resizing, layout generation, and PDF document exports happen directly within your browser's local memory sandbox.
Your photos, image pixels, original camera filenames, and EXIF metadata are never transmitted to our servers or stored in any remote database.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect or store user accounts, passwords, or login credentials.
- We do not collect, view, or retain uploaded image files or photos.
- We do not inspect or transmit embedded EXIF camera data (GPS, camera serials, timestamps).
- We do not track individual photo selections or client review statuses.
3. Local Storage and Session Manifests
If you choose to export a project manifest (.frameproof.json), this file is generated client-side and saved directly to your local file system. When re-opened, it is read entirely within your browser to restore layout parameters.
4. Third-Party Services & Analytics
We may use minimal, privacy-respecting website analytics to track coarse aggregated statistics (such as total page visits and browser operating systems). No media files or user identifiers are ever included in telemetry events.
